Unlike many other wedding photographers who entered this business after an interest in generic photography, my adventure in the world of photography started with weddings. I was at a friend’s wedding in Assam and I got my hands on the groom’s DSLR. Having no idea about aperture, shutter speed or ISO, I immediately called Madhura (the founder of Little Big Weddings), to understand how the camera works. For someone who hates being in front of the camera, this was pleasantly fun. Once I got back from the wedding, I joined Madhura on a couple of shoots before being sure about wedding photography, and quitting my job as a journalist. There’s been no looking back after that. Being on the field, and shooting is the most satisfactory feeling, and job is no more a job.
